Patrick and his team continue to foster relationships with treatment facilities and professional across the country. We draw from these relationships, and work with each family to try and find an appropriate destination for each client. Through years of visiting and working closely with many of the top facilities nationally, Patrick has developed a familiarity and unique perspective so that he is able to select the most appropriate destination for every client.
Some cases are so complex that they may require ongoing care management especially for those patients with a history of relapse. We assure continuity of service between the various stages and providers (inpatient, outpatient, psychiatric, sober living) and offer consultation and coaching to the family or employers in the weeks and months following treatment. This individualized service is intended to minimize any surprises following treatment, by insuring that the family and all members of the clients treatment team stay on the same page and continue to work together towards the same goal; long term recovery.
Recovery Companions work with clients and families to offer an added level of support during the early OR transitional stages of recovery. The role of a Recovery Companion is to guide, support and mentor clients, assisting them to apply the information first learned in treatment, into their daily lifestyles. Our qualified and experienced team of coaches and companions encourage and motivate clients to become active participants in their own lives, not only to survive but actually thrive in recovery. Recovery Companions are adept at modeling healthy behavior, and working with the client so they may develop a routine and stay engaged in recovery.
After making the emotional, spiritual, and financial investment in detox and/or treatment, a Recovery Companion is often the most practical way to insure the safety of the client in the early stages of transition following treatment or detox.
We have years of experience providing safe and secure transportation and support to and from any detox or residential treatment programs. Our goal is to minimize the anxiety and fear for the client, as well as the family, by ensuring a safe and efficient transition. Our team of professionals can arrange all travel and provide a helpful alternative during an already stressful time.
We spend time working with each family member, helping navigate various challenges as they happen in real time. Whether the addict is in treatment, early recovery, or still in active addiction, knowing what to say and how to say it can be tricky. We help coach family members on the importance of boundaries, and how to enforce them in daily life. Often, it can just be reassuring to have someone to call and ask for guidance, on a variety of issues as they come up. Each family is different, but addiction has a very familiar nature, and we use our experience to guide, advise, and identify all the resources available to them, so they may learn to better support their loved one.
